Avoid getting your lashes wet for 24 hours. Steaming, saunas, tanning beds, and working out/sweating heavily should be avoided for 24-36 hours after lash application to allow the adhesive to fully cure.
Avoid getting close to high heat such as opening the oven/grill or looking over boiling water) Dry high heat and/or lots of moist heat will affect the adhesive and the curl of the lashes, it can also singe the lashes!
Cleanse your lash extensions with a gentle lash cleanser at least 3x a week. We suggest Occhi Lash - Lash Bath Cleanser.
If necessary please gently comb through the lashes each morning to maintain a good appearance.
Please keep the eye area clean, this is very important. Some clients love their lashes so much that they don't want to get them wet at all. However, avoiding proper cleansing of the eye area and extensions can result in an eye infection whether wearing eyelash extensions or not.
Use caution when blow-drying hair. Extensive heat on lashes can distort the shape of the extensions. Please be gentle with your lashes.
Avoid rubbing, picking and/or pulling at your extensions and natural lashes. This can cause damage to your natural lashes.
Don't use oil-based and/or waterproof mascaras or eyeliners.
Regular mascara is not recommended for use as it will dissolve the bond of the adhesive with the lashes. If you are feeling the need to apply mascara, you may just want more lashes and you should schedule your maintenance appointment sooner.
Do Not try to remove lash extensions on your own this can cause lots of loss and damage to your natural lashes.
Avoid creams, eye makeup removers, lotions sunscreens or cleansers containing oils on or near your eyelashes.
Do Not use Q-tips or Cotton Balls. The lint can snag your lash extensions and pull your natural lash out.
Do Not use an eyelash curler on your extensions It is best to let your lashes air dry naturally and then you can separate the lashes with a clean spoolie brush.
If you do not like wet lashes you may gently close your eyes onto a lint free towel or dry your lashes with a cool fan.
Schedule your fills regularly. We recommend coming in every 2-3 weeks for a fill. Your lashes grow just like other hair on your body and you will need fills to remove grown out lashes and replace lashes that have fallen off. The amount of time you can go between fills depends on your natural hair growth cycles and how you care for your extensions. You should have no less than half of your extensions on when you come in for a fill. Anything over 4 weeks is considered a full set.
Sleep on your back to avoid smushing your extensions into your pillow. If you’re a stomach or side sleeper, try using a special eye mask that bubbles out to protect your extensions or silk pillowcase.
